Hi,
I have two boxes. One solaris(SParc5) and Linux on Intel.
On my Solaris box space is a problem. So I decided to export one nfs
volume in Linux and mount it on Solaris.
And I mounted the Linux volume on Solaris.

On Solais box after installing few applications /usr volume is full. So
I want to move all files from /usr on Solaris to newly mountd volume and
then create a symlink to /usr which points to newly NFS mounted volume.
I think this works.

The doubt is while copying files do I need to use 'cp' or 'cpio'. I
think I should use cpio. Do you think it works as usual if I copy using
cp?

Please give some inputs.

Cheers.
Mahantesh.

PS:Question involves Solaris so labelled it OT.
