Hello Gurus and (Suresh Ramasubra and Rajesh Fowkar
and Dileep -- as I am following your articles on your
web sites),

I have configured Pine and Fetchmail and Sendmail on
RHL.I am on dial up to vsnl.net

on my linux box i am loggin in as root and my
hostname+domain name is mailer.radhika.com

the entries in /etc/hosts are
192.168.0.1 mailer.radhika.com mailer localhost
127.0.0.1 localhost.localdomain localhost

Now I started the sendmail with command sendmail -q
and did fetchmail -v after that.
I could download (fetch the mails from my vsnl account
[EMAIL PROTECTED]) I could see messages scrolling
across my screens that 29 messages were received.
But when I opened my Pine then I am not able to see
the mails in my root's home directory/mail (I mean in
/root/mail folder)

I have following settings in Pine
user-name = imsrparanjape
user-domain= vsnl.net
smtp server = smtp.vsnl.net

Where are my mails?(This may be a stupid question but
yes it my question.)

Do I need to put some thing more in my .fetchmailrc
file where it will define what is the name of the
local user( in my case user on my linux box is root)?

Also what should be the seeting of Pine for
inbox-path?

Regards,

Prasad
