For connection to net U can use wvdial, a PPP dialer.

       your Internet Service Provider (ISP), such as the phone  number,  
your  username,  and  your

U can use wvdialconf command to generate wvdial.conf file and do necessary
changes like specifying username, phone number and password,...
command> wvdialconf /etc/wvdial.conf
