Hi listers, i have a celeron400/i810/128MB running PCQlinux. After installation, when i tried the 3D screensavers ( Gears, Planet etc) they were running really slow..and i guess did not use hardware acceleration. i edited my XF86Config and changed the default bpp to 16, the VRAM to 16MB. restarting X i found that i got a really smooth and fast rendering of the 3D screensavers. but the problem is the screensavers run really good on gnome, but this is not so in KDE where they still run in the same unaccelrated mode.
