I have installed Red Hat Linux 7.1 from PC Quest July 2001 CDs. The installation went off smoothly apart from the fact that I was not able to configure X properly and the reason behind this is, may be because, I have a SiS 63025 display adapter. Anyway, I did not install LILO to MBR during installation so every time I have to boot into LINUX using a boot floppy. The trouble is as soon as I see the login prompt and then if I don�t type anything for a few seconds then the Linux stops responding. No matter of keystrokes has any effect and after few minutes the screen blanks out. If someone has any solution to this problem, kindly help me out. My system has Pentium-1 120 MHz, 32 MB RAM, 2 HDD one of 2.1GB and the other is of 4.3 GB. I have installed Linux on this second HDD. I have made a swap space of 128 MB and the root partition is 2GB in size.
