Answer is yes and no. Mounting various devices need the appropr-
iate devices compiled or loaded as a module for  the  kernel. If
the kernel is compiled with static reiserfs  support  then there
should be no problems. Since you are booting through loadlin, no
linux partition can be accessed unless the kernel has the built-
in capability to do so. Normally only ext2 support is default.

If reiserfs support is not precompiled, the answer is yes, boot
process will stop for obvious reasons. Perhaps, you may have to 
re-compile your kernel and then try.
