Hmm. Can't see how this is relevant to LIH. But still:

On the router:

enable
(give password)

configure terminal
snmp-server community mycommunity RO
Control-Z
(New configuration saved)

write memory
exit

(Out of Cisco router)

On the linux machine:

cfgmaker --global "Workdir: /var/www/html/mrtg" --global "RunAsDaemon: Yes" 
[EMAIL PROTECTED] > /etc/mrtg/mrtg.cfg

/usr/sbin/mrtg /etc/mrtg/mrtg.cfg

Now fire up your browser and visit http://linux.machine.ip/mrtg to see bandwidth 
graphs.
