Don't know about Dragon Linux ... but do you have Xfree86
installed ? There are some configuration file, some driver
files (e.g. XF86_SVGA, or some other for your card), fonts
etc. installed ? The binary "xinit" is a must ... if you dont
have xinit on your box, install "X" first. Check out with:
$which xinit
It is usually at /usr/X11R6/bin/xinit. startx is merely an sh
script to supply clientargs and serverargs to xinit.
If it is only startx missing, you can be helped in putting a
startx script in place ...
