Thanks Archan! I've installed the eDesktop for temporary use. When I installed it I found a hda3 in the machine (don't laugh!) which I didn't know existed because Windows didn't recognize it. I wanted to install Linux in my d:\ drive and emptied it for the purpose. How should I merge hda3 and D:\?
Can you please tell me of a shop in Chennai where I can buy Linux-Mandrake 8.2 CDs, or can somebody lend me the same? I'm not able to connect to Net4India with my D-Link 56 modem. Kppp gives me an error message saying 'No dial tone'. Help!
