Hi ..
I agree iptraff is a good tool..but i need something like mrtg/rrdtool
and nrg....
and these tools give the out put in the form of graphs ...(with extension
.png , .html , .gif etc)....and you can see the status of network from
browser ....
to see the live graphs of mrtg ..you can visit 
http://www.bungi.com/traffic/bungi.html

but these tools work on SNMP ..and i need something which don't use SNMP...

Eventhough thaks for your comments ..you are the only one who gave a reply
for my query ...till i am waiting for the solution of my problem...
