If the command is set as suid, u will be promted to enter root pass.
u can do following to unset suid

chmod -s <path>/cdroast
chmod -s <path>/mkisofs
chmod -s <path>/cdrecord

ps: Dont forget to give permission to ur device entry [eg: /dev/sc*]
