problems with sasldb.

firstly, saslpasswd creates a file called sasldb.db instead of sasldb in
/etc and sasldblistusers is unable to read /etc/sasldb
i did "touch /etc/sasldb" but that didn't work too.
secondly, what entries are there in sasldb?

i tried
test\0testdomain.com\0passwd
but that didn't work

am i supposed to use test\0\test\0\testdomain.com\0passwd?

is this info supposed to be in /etc/mail/dafault-host-info as

test
test
testdomain.com
passwd

please help me .

thanks
Rahul
