Hi,

On my machine I had RedHat 7.2. Now on another partition I have
installed Woody. Working on woody since than.

>From RedHat 7.2 if I do

halt -p

or

poweroff

it works perfectly.

However in woody the same stuff does not work on the same machine. It
gives the message Power Down and than I have to manually switch of the
machine.

Anybody any such experiences on woody ?

Peace

XEmacs and Emacs are distinct editors, with many similarities.
Both of them provide graphical user interfaces in X windows.
If you want to use them in "console mode" (on an xterm), you
can invoke them as `emacs -nw' or `xemacs -nw'
