For the small userbase most people on this list have (anywhere upto a few
thousand addresses) there's not all that much of a difference.

Hell, we are running fairly well with procmail (well, a patched version of
procmail) delivering to hashed maildirs on a NAS - for several million
mailboxes.  Though, with the sort of userbase we have, maildrop is
definitely an option.
