Hi,

If on one of the partitions there are some bad blocks. It is a root
partition. If you run badblocks it throws the bad blocks numbers. Is it
possible to find out from which cylinder to which cylinder these blocks
pertain too so that the same partition can be split into two by creating
a new partition without any bad blocks ? Assuming the badblocks are
continuous.

Is it possible ? If yes, how ?

Peace
