hi, I have burned cds of RH 8.0 and when i try to install using a installer disk. It does not recognise my cd drive. I have burned the cd's using the iso images present at redhat. i'm at present using RH 7.3. how can i install the same. maheshwar
hi, My previous mail may be vague, so i'm trying to explain it better. I downloaded 3 iso images from redhat, used winimage to extract files from the iso image. Created a installer floppy using dd. During installation, i select cd rom for installation, but the cd-rom is not recognised. The cd-rom is fine as i'm able to view the files and ls directories on it using RH 7.3.
