My second problem so far with 2.4.19 kernel :

#mount /dev/hda6 /home/shyam/mnt
fs type vfat not supported
#mount -tvfat /dev/hda6 /home/shyam/mnt
fs type vfat not supported

I remember clearly that at make menuconfig ,
I had enabled support for FAT and MSDOS
as a module , and also said that the processor type
is i386 (my processor is AMD Duron) .
However these do not appear to be saved.
My kernel sees it as i686 (the default ?) .

My second question :
Mine is a VIA motherboard , Windows shows the
Display Adapter as : VIA Tech VT8361 ...

Should I go for the options on framebuffer ?

My last problem is an error message on IRQ7 ,
this error never occured on 2.2.x !

Thanks,
Shyam
