Hi

I have a P2 with a 40GB hard disk on which I have
installed win98, winxp and Mandrake Linux 7.1. I have
now got my hands on a system which I intend to
dedicate to Linux so I want to uninstall Linux from
the first system. I recon I can get rid of Linux by
deleting its partitions using Partition Magic, but I
don't know how to get rid of grub(lilo). I have tried
the fixmbr command from the winxp recovery console but
it gives the warning that I have a non-standard mbr so
I risk the chance of losing all data on my hard disk
if I continue.

I want to know whether the fixmbr command will work or
is there another way of getting rid of grub(lilo)?

Note: During installation of Linux I had used the
default option (the mbr I think) in the lilo section
of the install.
