Hello everybody,

I messed up with postfix again. I tried to setup
SMTP-authentication using postfix by following
the documentation given in /usr/share/doc/postfix-1.1.11/README_FILES/SASL_README
but still my mails are not getting sent.

The command 'postqueue -f' apparently does not give
any errors, but 'tail /var/log/mail/postfix/errors'
shows several errors of the form :
------------------------------------------------------------
Nov 6 05:22:10 home postfix/smtp[9045]: fatal: open database
/etc/postfix/sasl_passwd.db: Invalid argument
------------------------------------------------------------
I do have the /etc/postfix/sasl_passwd file setup, but I
don't have the sasl_passwd.db file there. Do I have to create it?
How?

Please help.

Regards,
Santanu Chatterjee
