Hi ,

: Is there any command line dictionary available under Red Hat Linux?
If you have a reasonably good net connection, you could try
dict (dict.org). They have clients there and you can use
www.dict.org as the server. Or you could download the
dictionary files, store them on your own box, run a local dict
server and use the dictionary.

I do have 24X7 internet connection. But sometimes it gets very slow I eats time.
What I wanted is a
1) English to English dictionary
2) German to English translator

Does the server provided by dict.org will give me a solution?

Thanks
siva
