Wrong question to ask in the open source community: "Why is (insert
favourite feature) not implemented?"

If you think a feature needs to be there, hire/threaten/seduce/bribe a
programmer to put it in, or do it yourself. At the very least file a
request in a relevant bug tracking system. Why harass other users by
asking for justification?
