dear friends,
i am begginer to linux. i had a problem getting
connected to the
internet. i have configured the modem correctly using
minicom application.when i dial up the ATDT1213131
string i get connected to the server it then asks for
the username and the password which i correctly
entered.however after some time it gives the message
NO CARRIER and the modem disconnects.could you please
help me out as to what the problem is and how i can
rectify it.
