When I installed Debian Woody on a PC, the CDROM drive was on hdd, the
single hard disk was on hda. Everything was fine.

For some reason, I shifted the CDROM to hdb. Now, I am unable to mount
CDROMs with 'mount /dev/cdrom /cdrom', complaint is /dev/cdrom is not a
valid device. But I am able to mount CDROMs with 'mount /dev/hdb
/cdrom'.

How do I define the change from hdd to hdb so that I can mount with
'mount/dev/cdrom /cdrom'

I was under the impression the change from hdd to hdb will be detected
automatically, but looks like the recognition was partial.
