I guess I've done that now by adding my username to the 'access' file. Is there any other file I've to modify to authenticate myself to relay? Also, I don't no how I'd have to give my popmail username and password to get my mail.

I'm still struggling with pine. Here's my sendmail.mc file. My e-mail address is [EMAIL PROTECTED] POP: mail.softhome.net. SMTP: smtp.softhome.net. My host name: textbox. User name: diwakar. The ones I edited are SMART_HOST, EXPOSED_USER and MAILER. I also added smtp.softhome.net to /etc/mail/access file.

Have you authenticated yourself to relay through smtp.softhome.net?
