[LIH]Wine 2 hot 4 me

hi all,

What does wine do ( i know it is an emulator for windows), i.e

* u install wine (actually i got an error when i did ./configure--> " bison / yacc not installed " ,what r these and where do i find them -my distro rh 7.1) , then what?? . I mean what windows programs can i run here.

* How do i select the program for running , i mean where do i find these programs for running.

[OFF-TOPIC] : Does anybody know about "THUNKING" in VC++....
Now no brick bats please. The mailing list is my only technical assist , i know no one else to ask . I tried googling but it was too techy for me. Anyone who knows (esp. in chennai) do kindly respond off-list . U would be helping a soul who at his wits end is trying to finish his project (B.E).
