Hello,
after adding a recipe to my procmailrc file to foward all emails from
userX to another email address, i stopped receiving all emails. i have
a RedHat 7.1 box and sendmail uses a .foward file in my home directory
to call on procmail. i've since bypassed the .foward file, by
specifying the mda in my fetchmailrc file. what i would like to know
is if the mails that were undelivered are stored anywhere. i can't
locate them. below is a message that shows up in my /var/log/maillog
file:

Dec 17 20:38:40 mario smrsh: uid 500: attempt to use procmail #mario
Dec 17 20:38:40 mario sendmail[12702]: gBHF8dS12702: to="|exec /usr/bin/procmail
#mario", ctladdr=mario (500/500), delay=00:00:00, xdelay=00:00:00, mailer=prog,
pri=30100, dsn=5.0.0, stat=Service unavailable
Dec 17 20:38:40 mario sendmail[12702]: gBHF8dS12702: gBHF8dT12702: return to sender:
Service unavailable

below is what i added to my .procmailrc
:0
* (^From:.*) userx
! other_email@other_domain

is it at all possible to recover my mails? and what could have caused this?

Thank You,
Regards,
mario
