Hello everybody,

I just discovered that I was having a problem for sometime but
only discovered its effect recently.
Let me explain :

I have the following line in exim.conf (Debian Woody):
qualify_domain = softhome.net

Without this line, my outgoing mail are returned by the MTA at
SoftHome. But what happened recently is that some sort of local
security warning mail (when I incorrectly used sudo as normal user)
was created and sent to root by the localhost.

But on connecting to internet, the message went straight to
[EMAIL PROTECTED], and today I received a message from SoftHome.net
telling me to fix my configuration.

Please tell me what to do to fix this problem.
I have put the following line in /etc/email-addresses:
root: santanu@localhost
but this does not seem to help.

Regards,
Santanu
