Fetchmail sort of assumes a fault-tolerant SMTP listener, while Courier
is very particular about RFC compliance.

Use --smtpname [EMAIL PROTECTED] with fetchmail. your.domain
should be one of, in order:

a) The domain listed in /etc/courier/me file.
b) Any of the domains listed in your /etc/courier/locals file.
c) What the hostname command returns on your Courier server, in case
/etc/courier/me doesn't exist.
d) Optionally, any domain listed in hosteddomains, locals or
esmtpacceptmailsfor files (in /etc/courier) on your Courier server.

Of course, you know the difference between all those files.
