Dear Group,
We are using Redhat 7.3, with nfs and NIS. We export the /home
directory from the server to the client machines. Whenever the client
machine is switched on or some application is run with get the setting
from the home directory I get the following error:
linux kernel:nsm_mon_unmon: rpc failed, status=-13
linux kernel:lockd: cannot monitor 192.168.0.51
There is also another problem that when we are working on the server in
the terminal mode the lockd message keeps filling up the screen and we
are forced to refresh the screen.
How do I solve this?
