The screen of "mc", when I ssh a RH8 machine from RH7.1, result in different type of character, and thus making it difficult to read. While local screen of "mc" is good on both RH7.1 and RH8.0 machines.
On RH8.0, even If I login locally and use script, the resulting file contain much more repetition and also make file non readable. A very small sample file for two version is attached below. In script session, I typed only four key strokes: R, a, i and Enter key. Any suggetion to tackle these problems. -- H.S.Rai ---------------------------------------------- On RedHat 7.1 --------------------------------------------- Script started on Mon Jan 6 13:12:52 2003 [email@rai email]$ Rai bash: Rai: command not found [email@rai email]$ Script done on Mon Jan 6 13:12:56 2003 ---------------------------------------------- On RedHat 8.0 --------------------------------------------- Script started on Mon Jan 6 12:38:28 2003 [manju@manju manju]$ [manju@manju manju]$ [manju@manju manju]$ R [manju@manju manju]$ R [manju@manju manju]$ Ra [manju@manju manju]$ Ra [manju@manju manju]$ Rai [manju@manju manju]$ Rai bash: Rai: command not found [manju@manju manju]$ [manju@manju manju]$ Script done on Mon Jan 6 12:38:37 2003 ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by:ThinkGeek Welcome to geek heaven. http://thinkgeek.com/sf _______________________________________________ linux-india-help mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/linux-india-help
