The screen  of "mc", when  I ssh a RH8  machine from RH7.1,  result in
different type  of character,  and thus making  it difficult  to read.
While local screen of "mc" is good on both RH7.1 and RH8.0 machines.

On RH8.0, even  If I login locally and use  script, the resulting file
contain much more  repetition and also make file  non readable. A very
small  sample  file  for  two version  is  attached  below. In  script
session, I typed only four key strokes: R, a, i and Enter key.

Any suggetion to tackle these problems.
