yea rajesh linux can be made to logon to Win NT domain using samba. the advantages to log into the NT domain is to use the network services (coz once u logon to NT domain it issues u a token which u can use to access network services), the other advantage is that the administrator can make to run some scripts for u, for ex mapping some drive etc.
