Hi, Anybody on the list on a DSL connection using ZyXEL Omni 128L modem ?
When I try to connect using the modem I get the error NO CARRIER ? When I searched Google, on ZyXEL site they have mentioned regarding the init string which is at&fb40. The details what they have given there are for windos. The same thing should apply to linux too. But when I tried using the above init string and the number 912 for dialing(yes we have to dial), still it gives 'NO CARRIER'. From windows the connection works. In wvdial I have put a fake username and password since no username and password are required. But wvdial asks for username and password. However this has nothing to do with NO CARRIER.
