Okay i checked the permissions on my box.
They are
drwxrwxrwt
(one way to do it is as root would be,
mkdir /tmp
chmod 777 /tmp
chmod o+t /tmp
)
So change the permissions of your /tmp to that value, fix up your
fstab as in earlier mail and reboot.
