What is the drive connected as? If it is Secondary Master then it's device name would be hdc else if it's slave then it would be hdd. Anyways #fdisk /dev/hd[cd] to find out what, if any, partitions exist. Suppose you have a ext2 partition hdc1 on your disk then, as root #mount /dev/hdc1 /mnt/drive2 you might also have to make sure /mnt/drive2 exists.
