hey, guys, im having terrible modem trouble. i hav a
dlink external DFM-560E 56k modem n im runin mdk9
powerpack. im on vsnl. im also on a epabx, if that
makes a diffrence. i get the handshake tone, but then
im not able to get hooked up to my isp. i think i need
a string. i tried various strings like "ATX1S10=250"
"=100+ ... but none seem to work.
while dialing with kppp i soemtimes get script timed
out , even after having incresed the time out time to
17 secs. on other occasions i get "NO CARRIER".
