recently i posted here about Bsnl dailup connection, some one suggested me to
use the wvdial.
wvdial is supposed to be an intelligent dialer. It figures out whether
the ISP is using PAP or CHAP and feed in the values as required. Just
fill up the secrets file with your login parameters and it will do the
rest.
those Bsnl people they said something is changed on server side but the dont
know what exactly is it.
in windows the changes made disabled the login prompt which we get after
dialup, that is black windows for entering login name and password, insted, we
have to specify password before dailing it and then it logs on directly,
That's CHAP. Your windows dialer does the fill up.
