This is what I have got on woody in /etc/fstab :

/dev/cdrom /cdrom iso9660 ro,user,noauto 0 0

Please give details of the error. What should we interpret from you
message - My cdrom drive is not mounting ?

How you tried to mount ?
What errors came on the screen ?

More details please .

Peace

Sub : Disabling shell screensaver LOST #144

To turn off the terminal screen saver
$setterm -blank 0
Its a function of the Linux console driver and not the shell
