I am using CVS 1.11 (client/server) on RedHat 7.1 I am using cvs for storing vb files also, some of them is binary and we are controlling it from client. I mean everytime some one has to change the file, he has to do edit selection from wincvs (1..3 beta ) client. While doing checkout module from wincvs, every one keeps check out read only options. Now whatever the file one wants to edit, selects that file and does edit selection. Now one of our developers has created new sandbox without option check out read only from wincvs. And from then onwards, no one is able to do update or edit the code. Whenever some tries , wincvs gets hang and stops responding. How can I change this locking information from repository? What is the solution for this problem?
