Of course. Courier IMAP. www.courier-mta.org. Running courier on three servers, one with 4 domains + 300 IMAP users. Another with 50-odd domains with 1000+ POP users. A third as a mail hub to the second. It runs on Maildirs, not mboxes. But you get converters.
