Nagraj,

1. Squid is not compiled for LDAP, so u have to get source and compile
squid to authenticate via LDAP.

2. Setting ldap server is not difficult, u just have to configure
/etc/openldap/slapd.conf and u have many migration utilities in
/usr/share/openldap/migration (in Redhat 8.0) which are perl scripts
which convert all ur database to ldap DB.

authenticate via ldap.
