Hello,
I am having a folder /foo and when I do a FTP I land up to this directory
as the home directory is set up accordingly. Now I want that I should get
access to the directory /var/www via ftp. I am trying to do this by setting
a link. I set up a symbolic link (ln -s) to the /var/www from the /foo
directory. All the directory rights are made to 777 as a trial. Now when I
directly log-on to the machine I can go to the directory /var/www by using
the symbolic link created. But when I come via ftp and isseue a command cd
www then I get the error that no such file is there. What should be done ?
With regards,
Goutam Baul
