Hi,

I get the following attached errors when I try to run
the new openldap server on my system.

i suspect that the old version of openldap that came
with my mandrake install is also running.

so my second problem is how do i get rid of the old
installation.

[root@renresref amol]# /usr/local/libexec/slapd -d8
daemon: socket() failed errno=22 (Invalid argument)
daemon: bind(6) failed errno=98 (Address already in
use)
slapd stopped.
connections_destroy: nothing to destroy.

[root@renresref amol]# ldapsearch -s base
'(objectclass=*)' namingContexts
ldap_bind: Can't contact LDAP server

How do i solve this problem

Bye,
Amol
