Hi,
I need to start a talk server on my machine. When ever I type,
talk username , I get connection refused. That means there is no talk
server operating. How to install one, or rather which talk server to
install I tried ntalk but cannot get it working. Can someone walk me
thru' it? It seems that talk works on udp ports, can I use xinetd to
work in such cases? I tried a few other talk servers but they say that
they need inetd to work with. I have xinetd on Mdk Linux 8.2 distro.
These servers refuse to compile without inetd.

Thanks a lot in advance and waiting eagerly for any replies. Please Cc
me the replies cos' I am subscribed in digest mode.

With warm regards,
-Payal
