Hi,
I am trying to install Openoffice-1.0.1 on Mdk Linux 9.0. I have the
rpms which came with the CD of Mdk. 9.0

I did,

# rpm -ivh OpenOffice.org-1.0.1-9mdk.i586.rpm
error: failed dependencies:
        OpenOffice.org-libs = 1.0.1-9mdk is needed by OpenOffice.org-1.0.1-9mdk
        OpenOffice.org-l10n = 1.0.1 is needed by OpenOffice.org-1.0.1-9mdk
        OpenOffice.org-l10n >= 1.0.1-8mdk is needed by OpenOffice.org-1.0.1-9mdk

So, I installed,
# rpm -ivh OpenOffice.org-libs-1.0.1-9mdk.i586.rpm

Then I tried to install,
OpenOffice.org-l10n-en-1.0.1-9mdk.i586.rpm
But,

# rpm -ivh OpenOffice.org-l10n-en-1.0.1-9mdk.i586.rpm
error: failed dependencies:
        OpenOffice.org = 1.0.1 is needed by OpenOffice.org-l10n-en-1.0.1-9mdk

Now what is this OpenOffice.org 1.0.1. This is same package which I am trying
to install in the first place.
It is chicken and egg problem.

Can someone guide on how to do it properly?

I don't have the tar balls of Openoffice with me.

With regards,
-Payal
