Hi,

I have installed RH 8.0 and  having some starnge problem with the network
card.
Its an realtek 8139 card and the module used for that is 8139too.

The network connection is not consistent and I keep losing the connectivity,
sinc ethe network is card is reset.

Following is the extract of the messages file "

Feb 21 12:28:49 cvsbkup  -- root[1045]: ROOT LOGIN ON tty1
Feb 21 12:31:29 cvsbkup login(pam_unix)[750]: session closed for user root
Feb 21 12:31:32 cvsbkup login(pam_unix)[1096]: session opened for user root
by LOGIN(uid=0)
Feb 21 12:31:32 cvsbkup  -- root[1096]: ROOT LOGIN ON tty3

This message is repeated n numbers of times.

Please let me know what could be the exact problem fo rthis behaviour.
