[LIH]VT, MPlayer, Wine

Few things not in order:

1. On PCQ/RH 8.0 while trying to switch to a virtual terminal from 
the X11 mode, X11 crashes and the focus returns to terminal 
#1(text-mode). Has anybody else too come across this situation?

2. On a PCQL 8.0 distro ['workstation' install (which should 
hardly make a diff)], mplayer crashes after playing the first MP3 
with signal 11(SIGSEGV). Is it supposed to be a compile error? GCC 
is 3.2 alright.

3. Wine (20020804) on KNOPPIX (LFY Feb) is way too better than 
Wine (20020605) on PCQL 8.0 or RHL 8.0. Are there any major 
patches done to Wine between these releases? Can anybody here tell 
about that?
