hi,

Run the following commands on the linux computer where
eth0 is connected to the other network
(192.168.11.0/24) and eth1 is connected to a private
LAN (192.168.10.0/24)

FOR IPCHAINS
=============
1.         ipchains -F forward

2.         ipchains -P forward DENY
3.         ipchains -A forward -s 192.168.10.0/24 -j
MASQ
4.         ipchains -A forward -i eth1 -j MASQ

5.         echo 1 > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/ip_forward

FOR IPTABLES
============
1. iptables --flush
2. iptables --table nat --flush
3. iptables --delete-chain
4. iptables --table nat --delete-chain
5. iptables --table nat --append POSTROUTING
--out-interface eth0 -j MASQUERADE
6. iptables --append FORWARD --in-interface eth1 -j
ACCEPT
7. echo 1 > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/ip_forward

You can put it in a file and run it as a script as
well. Once it is run, you system will start ip
forwarding the packets to the other network. Now you
will be able to ping the other systems on the other
network and other system will be able to ping you.

If you still have problems, please post your queries.

Regards
Abdul Khader
