and you can also use mozilla mail with enigmail
(http://enigmail.mozdev.org), if you prefer a graphical interface. also,
seahorse (http://seahorse.sourceforge.net) is a gtk frontend for gpg,
and makes generation, export and import of keys much easier, without
using a terminal, though, as of know signing other people's keys (web of
trust) is not possible.
