I am not able to see this share from a windows NT machine , but from win2k
I am able to see it. Interestingly if I change the name of the share to a small
name , lets say only to [Satish], it works fine ! Any workarounds for this
situation ?
Got resolved thru linux.samba usenet group. The main problem is that the share name cannot be greater than 8 characters :( testparm /etc/samba/smb.conf threw the warnings / errors for the same !
Regards, Satish/
