Dear All,

This is an answer to one of my queries that i send
a week or so back.

The question was if i could get my pcmcia carbus
card to be automatically configured during bootup.

Well the answer (what i could understand of it) is
that it cannot be configured to do so, unless you download a patch for pci utils (for
a pci card).

Pcmcia cardbus devices are handled by cardmgr and
hotplug and my query was understood to be a term
called coldplugging, where everything was connected
at boot time and needed to load.

Anyway kernel 2.5 resolves this.

Hope that helps somebody
